We realize that won\u2019t be easy for everyone. Some things hold people down and get in the way of knowing God; decades-long hindrances that will not be easy to shake.<\/span><\/p>\n

We know we are called to \u201ctake up our cross daily and follow Christ\u201d and that the tough part is doing that \u2018daily.\u2019<\/span>
\nBut Jesus also said that His yoke was \u2018easy\u2019 and His burden was \u2018light\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

The early church leader, James, told the leaders gathered at Jerusalem that \u201cwe should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are coming to Christ\u201d by adding extra rules, fences, and boundaries that Jesus Himself did not add.<\/span><\/p>\n

A church that prays forcefully<\/strong> and worships passionately<\/strong>; that fully depends on the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

A church deeply\u00a0engaged in restoration, reconciliation and justice<\/strong> that lives effortlessly in\u00a0harmony and unity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A church that understands sacrifice<\/strong>; that pays the necessary price to see God’s Kingdom come.<\/span><\/p>\n

A church so big in influence that it cannot be ignored<\/strong>; it\u2019s a Church that won’t be defined merely by its buildings.<\/span><\/p>\n

A church that embraces the next generation<\/strong>; willing to pour the Living water out of vessels they have never drank from.<\/span><\/p>\n

A church that looks forward<\/strong>, not backward – not to things that are seen, but to things that are unseen<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
