We realize that won’t be easy for everyone. Some things hold people down and get in the way of knowing God; decades-long hindrances that will not be easy to shake.

We know we are called to “take up our cross daily and follow Christ” and that the tough part is doing that ‘daily.’
But Jesus also said that His yoke was ‘easy’ and His burden was ‘light’.

The early church leader, James, told the leaders gathered at Jerusalem that “we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are coming to Christ” by adding extra rules, fences, and boundaries that Jesus Himself did not add.

So our prayer and hope are that everyone who calls Journey Church home would live in such a way that people would notice the way we live, and by observing us they would find it easier to find and experience God by our example.
